Annaliese is a writer and editor specialising in culture and wildlife.

I’m currently working on projects about preserving heritage in unrecognised countries, solutions to human-wildlife conflict in the Arctic, the rebuilding of Gaza’s only circus, and more. I also recently served as the editor of Wired For Adventure; a UK based bi-monthly adventure travel magazine.

As both a writer and editor, I craft compelling narratives that transport readers across the globe and through the looking glass of history, place and culture.

You can find me in The Guardian, BBC Wildlife, The Independent, The I, the New Zealand Herald, New Lines Magazine, The Dispatch, and more.

I’ve been involved with multimedia work for a number of publications and can craft, shoot, present and edit high-quality content for audio and video.

I launched the Wired For Adventure podcast, in which I interviewed world renowned adventurers like expedition cyclist Nick Sanders.
